Presidency College offers a wide range of training programs that aim to develop the holistic growth and development of students. The training packages provided to students are both rigorous and enjoyable, ensuring maximum participation and learning. The following are some of the training programs offered at Presidency College:
1) Orientation Training: The objective of this program is to help students develop self-confidence, enjoy the course, and become confident in their ability to succeed through the Presidency mechanism.
2) Life Skill Training: The objective of this program is to equip students with different life-building skills, enabling them to handle life’s changes and challenges with confidence.
3) Pre-Placement Training: The objective of this program is to prepare students to succeed in the job market of their choice.
4) Training by C to C : Industry experts conduct lectures and practical sessions on upcoming or burning issues such as change management, EKS, cyber security, digital marketing, etc.; under this Corporate to Campus programme.
5) Training on Academic Schedule: Under the UNIT VISIT program, students visit industrial houses and corporate offices, giving them exposure to the corporate culture.
6) Training on Industrial Tour: Students visit different places beyond the state, such as Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Vizag for a week-long program where they visit pre-scheduled industries, collect data and information, and prepare tour report at the end of the corresponding semester.
7) Summer Internship Training (SIP): During summer, PG students work in any pre-scheduled industry for two months, while UG students work for one month to apply theory in practice. They then submit a report for evaluation and award of marks.
8) Summer Camp: Additional courses are offered during summer vacations, covering topics such as spoken English, programming languages, project training, and more, helping students engage in activities of self-improvement.
